Add character to your powder room with decorative tiles
If you’ve been to one of our stores lately, you have probably seen our great variety of decorative tiles. One of the most frequently asked questions we get is how to incorporate these beautiful feature tiles in a home’s design in a way that won’t tire homeowners and their families. Our number one suggestion is, instead of trying to make loud designs and styles work with more neutral ones as kitchen splashbacks, for example, to make a statement in a powder room.
Powder rooms are usually much smaller than full bathrooms, so already they are cheaper to renovate. Also, because this is probably not a room you use very often, even if you choose red mosaic glass tiles from floor to ceiling, wall to wall, you won’t get tired of it. Think of your powder room as your opportunity to really wow your guests with amazing design, class, and lots of personality.
3D Tiles
You can definitely transform a small space such as a powder room into an ultra-modern space with 3D tiles. Installed from wall to wall, and combined with modern fixtures, clean-lined cabinets, and minimalistic accessories, you will achieve a futuristic look that is sure to receive many compliments. We suggest a dramatic colour palette, like black and white, for contrast and maximum impact.
Printed Tiles
While some people choose to add drama and personality to powder rooms with interesting wallpaper, you can achieve a similar look with printed tiles – with the added advantages of easy cleaning and extra durability.
Use the same tiles on walls and floors for maximum drama, and keep everything else simple – add a stand-alone basin, classic features, a mirror and you are set.
Glass Tiles – Mosaic
Go for bold colour combinations with powder room glass tile mosaics. From rich Moroccan blues to emerald greens, or even a combination of dark earthy tones, pick statement fixtures and accessories, for a small bathroom full of personality and style.
